Lenten Healing Services
We are excited to announce the launch of a healing service at Northland beginning February 18, 2018. These services are part of a larger vision to address the great need for healing within our communities. Everyone has been wounded – whether physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually, and our woundedness causes us to relate to God and others through a tainted lens. When those wounds heal and we are set free from unhealthy relational patterns, we can truly live in the freedom Christ has given us. We can love God and others more like Jesus because we will see them more as He sees them, instead of through our own skewed perspective. And our relationships will begin to thrive.
The healing services will be held on Sundays at 5pm weekly through Lent. They are designed to create an atmosphere that focuses on Jesus as our Healer. The teaching topics will include: Jesus as our Healer, Our Need for Healing, Why does God allow pain?, Lamenting, The Healing Path, and Hope. The services will consist of worship, prayer, teachings, communion, prayer for healing, anointing for healing, and brief testimonies of healing.
